Junxure Tips, Tricks &
FAQ's |
How can I track companies
& contacts of those companies in Junxure?
There are two ways:
- You
can enter the company name in the Last Name of a record. That
way
a company is a record unto itself. Then go to the contact tab
on
the company record to store basic info about each contact at the
company. Then, all of your actions concerning the company
will be on one record.
- Another
way is to list each contact at a company as their own record.
You
can bring them together on the associates tab. See our video
on
the Associates Tab.
You have to make sure you have the exact same company name
listed
in the snail-mail address fields on the contact tab for each record.
How do I set up the Junxure
automatic log-in feature? (Version 7 only)
- First,
you must have rights to access the user menu. If you do not
have
access, talk to your Junxure Key person to set this up for you.
- From
the Main Menu select System Setup, then
select Users.
- Next,
highlight your user record and double click to open up the employee
details as shown in the screen shot below.
- At
the bottom of the employee detail screen, click on Get Windows Logged in User. The Win Username will
then automatically populate as shown in the red circle.
- The
next time you log in to your Junxure, you will not be prompted to input
your Junxure user name and password. Please review
our video on the Log-on Sign On Options for a
detailed demonstration.

How do I
turn on email handling?
First
of all, Four conditions must
be met for email
handling to function:
- You
must have Outlook.
- You
need a Classification of CLIENT or EMAIL in the Profile tab.
- For example, A PROSPECT would
have a classification of EMAIL.
- A Client would have a classification of CLIENT
- The
Email address that you want to capture must be entered
into the system under the contact record.
- Email handling must be turned
on. See below.
Email
handling options are controlled through the
Main
Menu->Maintain System->System Options->Local
Options.
Junxure 7.0 has four
methods of
handling email. These methods tell Junxure
what
to do in respect to email, both sent and received.
Use the dropdown menu next to Email
Handling to choose the appropriate setting for your office. Although
email
settings are set up user by user, we
recommend that the
entire office select
the same method of handling
email.
- On –
Action Required -
email can be sent from Junxure or Outlook and all
sent
and received email will be recorded in Junxure. A new action will be assigned to the logged in user with
the Action
required checked.
No Alert will be
sent.
- On
– Action Required with Alert -
email can be sent from Junxure or
Outlook and
all sent and received email will be recorded in
Junxure. A new action will be assigned to the logged in user with
the Action
required checked. An Alert will be
sent.
- On
– No Action Required -
email can be sent from Junxure or Outlook and
all sent and received email will be recorded in Junxure,
but no action will be
required.
- Off - When email handling
is set to Off, Junxure will only bring in email
messages from:
- Emails
that are created from Junxure
(emails created
from an action or from the
Global Email Wizard)
- With
the
manual import button
from Outlook.

GREAT
TIP: Email
handling Set up is USER by USER
however, you can go to set this up for one user and then select the
“copy to other users”
button to copy local settings to all Employees directly from
your Junxure log in.

Rules Every
Office Should Build
Any time you need
to segment your contacts into a specific set, you want to create a RULE.
Here are some ideas so that you can winnow your entire lists of contacts
down to a specific set. * Note: Keywords, Classifications,
etc. shown in our examples may be different than yours. The idea is
to give you suggestions on how to build these rules. See our video on the
Rules Builder for a detailed demonstration.
SAMPLE
RULE: Give me a list of clients who will be eligible to take their RMD by
the end of 2008. In this example, we created a rule for anyone will be aged
70.5 or older by the end of 2008.
- Client

- Rule
Inclusions: Classification = "Client"
- Terminated

- Under
the Additional tab for "Client Birthday", select from the drop down
menu: "Less Than", then choose date of 07/01/1938 (For a 2008 Rule).
- Note:
You will need to create a second rule for Spouse over 70.5 for RMD. Use
the "Spouse Birthday" under the Additional Tab instead of "Client

The Office
& Employee Record
Create
an Office and an Employee Record to enhance efficiencies in your entire
office. In the Office Record or Employee Record, you can
record actions, recurring actions or initiate action
sequences to remind you of important procedures that need to get done
by the Office or by the Employee. In this way, important
procedures for your entire Office don't fall through the cracks.
Note: To create an Office Record: Put the text
"Office
Record" in the Client Last Name Field. To learn how to add a
new contact view our video Add
a New Contact video.
Note:
We recommend that when you create Employee Records, that you do not
record
the employee email.
