Greg Friedman, MS, CFP® Known for it's exceptional prowess for innovatively leveraging technology, Friedman & Associates was recognized by Charles Schwab Institutional with it's prestigious IMPACT Award® in 2007 for "Best in Tech" and also consistently recognized by Schwab for the last 6 years for excellence in business and practice management as one of their "Best Managed Firms". In addition to leading Friedman & Associates, Greg is also the President and founder of CRM Software, the developer of Junxure, a client and office management system for independent financial professionals, and ClientView, a tool to create Client Private Web Pages. With over 7,000 users, Junxure has become the industry standard CRM and office workflow technology for professional investment advisors. Recognizing the need for better technology integration in the financial planning industry, Greg has taken a leadership role in co-founding Your Silver Bullet, LLC, a community of over 25 independent software providers whose mission is to accelerate development of integrations among common CRM, financial planning and portfolio and investment management applications. Greg has served in a number of positions within the industry, including various committees for the Financial Planning Association, and the Northern California Regional Financial Planning Conference committee. Greg is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and he has written for many industry publications on practice management and technology, including the Journal of Financial Planning and Personal Financial Planning Monthly. He also teaches graduate courses in Financial Planning at Golden Gate University in San Francisco. Greg holds the Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California at San Diego and a Master of Science degree in Financial Planning with an emphasis on Taxation from Golden Gate University in San Francisco. He holds the professional designation of Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and has been practicing comprehensive financial planning since 1989. Ken Golding Ken and Greg are also founders of Your Silver Bullet, LLC (www.YourSilverBullet.com), a membership organization of industry technology companies committed to improving data sharing and interfaces between independent software applications in order to create efficiency and enable Advisors to build their own “Silver Bullet” software John Shangler John provides leadership of daily operations to drive both long- and short-term business objectives for our company. He has extensive management experience in operations, customer support and product development with both start-up and late-stage companies in a variety of executive positions. Most recently, John served as President and General Manager at Reasoning in Menlo Park, California, providing software reliability and risk assessment services to customers worldwide. Prior to joining Reasoning, John was vice president of product operations for SuccessFactors, an HR software company. Previously, he held senior management positions at a number of software companies, primarily in Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Bay Area. John received his B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Robert DeFrancis
As Director of Client Services, Robert is responsible for guiding investment advisers and financial planners in recognizing the benefits of introducing the Total Office Management features of Junxure into their practices. Robert brings extensive experience in the industry drawn on his early work with Centerpiece (now PortfolioCenter) at Schwab Performance Technologies. Since joining us in 2002, Robert’s expertise in customer relationship management and customer support have become well-known to more than a thousand CRM Software customers. His clear, lively and informative style have made him a popular web presenter and spokesperson at conferences around the country. Robert received his Bachelor of Arts in English Literature at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina. Erin Kincheloe Erin manages the development and delivery of the extensive training resources available to our customers, as well as on-site professional consulting. Beginning her career in financial services in 1985, Erin worked initially for a large wire house and became a partner in a local financial planning firm in 1990. In 2000 she co-founded Cents & Sensibility, a female-friendly financial planning firm in Pleasanton, California In 2006 she sold her practice and joined CRM Software as a Training Specialist. Having used Junxure for 8 years in her planning firm, Erin brings practical real-world office experience to her Junxure training sessions. Erin received her B.A. degree from Westmont College in Santa Barbara and a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from University of San Francisco. Erin is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and a member of National Speakers Association (NSA). |
